Welcome to
CanBall Games

Where we create simple, affordable, durable sports themed board games that everyone CAN play!

Our family LOVES baseball, and all things sports!

When COVID shut down our world, we were devastated that Major League Baseball, along with pretty much every other sport, was cancelled. With nothing to do but sit around and stare at each other with glum looks on our faces and sadness in our hearts, out of the blue in April 2020, we thought, hey, maybe we could make a baseball game??

After some trial and error, some hits and misses and a LOT of playing, our baseball crazy family came up with an idea for a simple little board game and CanBall was born!

By the end of May, we had sold over 50 games across Canada and we knew we were on to something!

Never ones to sit around and lollygag, we now found ourselves thinking… this is FUN!  “What other games can we make?” And we spent the next few months turning our little side hustle into a legit business

We invented CanBall Football which we launched in November 2021 and CanBall Golf, which will hit the store in spring 2023!

We hope you enjoy playing CanBall Games as much as we enjoy creating and making them!

From our family to yours… PLAY BALL!

Meet the 2021 Go Money Pitch Finale winners

Last night’s Go Money Pitch Finale put Saskatoon’s most promising new business ideas up against a panel of expert judges. With a total of $30k on the line, the top five entrepreneurs from the SREDA Go Money Entrepreneurship Competition pitched to both a live and virtual audience at Lucky Bastard Distillery in Saskatoon.

The Go Money Entrepreneurship Competition received nearly 80 applications this year, of which 20 were selected to compete in the Strategy Round. In this round, entrepreneurs attended individual strategy sessions with some of the Saskatoon Region’s brightest business leaders. Strategists advised and evaluated both the business concept and the entrepreneur. The top five were then selected to proceed to the Go Money Pitch Finale.
